Snow at the nature reserve

Just a few photos of Alcester nature reserve in the snow, not really much to say about them except I hope you enjoy them. The close up pic is, I believe Small Teasel (Dipsacus pilosus) which is apparently rare locally, and is one of the reasons the nature reserve exists.

  1. Lovely to see Alcester nature reserve under snowy conditions, I'm familiar with the views but only in the warmer months of the year.

  2. I missed the snow, being in a nearly as cold Florida, but these cracking views just make me want to go out and play!

  5. Hi Colin

Nice to meet you earlier at the reserve and thanks so much for all the info. Will definitely be going back there.

Have looked at your blog and you have some great shots. The reserve looks great in the snow and some lovely shots of the squirrels and robins.

Sure we'll bump into each other again and I'll keep a track of your blog and eventually work out how to create my own id.

    Bye for now

    Tony
