Hiya Colin. A lot of these beetles are on the IoW at present and mostly engaged, as you say, in ensuring there will be plenty next year too.

Absolutely loads of these beetles about. I am sure I read somewhere that these were also known as Bonking Beetles, which seems very apt as that is exactly what most of them seem to be doing!.
