Had the day off today so went to spend some time at the nature reserve, it turned out to be a lovely day after a frosty start. Their seemed to be definite signs of spring, with the Rooks and Jackdaws busy with bits of twigs for nest building. Also their was a lot of these Wrens about, singing their hearts out, not sure if this is to attract others, or to keep other males away from their territory.
